Steps to follow when placing your order:

Please read the following instructions prior to placing your order. Following these simple instructions will ensure the best results for your montage! Please contact a Montage Solutions specialist at info@montage-solutions.com should you have additional questions. We are here to help!

 
1. Choose a package that is most suitable for you and decide how many chapters you desire.
2. Choose a theme and/or style for your montage from our collection. (Fun, Traditional, Etc.)
(Note: A Montage Solutions specialist will contact you after your order has been placed to discuss this in greater detail or you may contact a Montage Solutions specialist prior to placing your order at info@montage-solutions.com).
3. Wedding montages - Are the childhood pictures side-by-side, completely separate or alternating?
4. Choose a number of pictures that correspond with the package you selected. (Note: remember the number of photos you select is determined by the package you select, therefore try to choose an assortment of photos so that your montage includes various time periods and/or events - you may want to reconsider submitting very similar photos)
5. Submit your photos to Montage Solutions! There are two ways in which you may submit your photos. You may choose to scan them yourself or you may send them to us so that we can scan them for you.
Scan your own pictures!

If you choose to scan your own pictures you may do so on your home scanner or you may choose to scan them at a local photo lab (ie. Walmart, Walgreens, etc.)

1. Be sure to clean your scanner prior to scanning your pictures with a clean cotton cloth (do not use paper towels as they will leave dust particles on the scanner that will be scanned with your photos). You will need to continue to clean the scanner in the same manner every 5-7 scans to ensure clean photo scans.

2. Save your photos in a .jpg format in the highest resolution possible (we recommend 300DPI or higher)

3. Save your photos on a CD and name each photo with a 3-digit number indicating the order they will appear in your montage (ie. 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg, etc.).

4. DO NOT crop your photos, should you have special cropping preferences, please indicate those when you submit your photos.

5. DO NOT scan pictures that have been altered or physically cut down in size and/or shapes.

6. Review the photos you scanned and ensure they look exactly like the original, be sure none of your photos are distorted prior to submitting them.

7. You are now ready to submit your photos to Montage Solutions by one of the following: mail the CD to Montage Solutions, PO Box 4305, Olathe, KS 66062 (we recommend you use a traceable service) or submit your photos via email to order@montage-solutions.com.
We will scan your pictures!

We will scan your pictures for you for $.50 per picture.

1. Place the pictures in the order you would like for them to appear in your montage. Place sticky notes with the corresponding number on the backside of each photo or write the appropriate number in pencil on the backside of the photo. (Do NOT simply place the pictures into an envelope and hope they arrive in exactly the same order).

2. Place the pictures into envelopes according to chapter and then number the chapter envelopes chronologically as well.

3. Place each chapter envelope in order into a padded/protected envelope and mail (we recommend you use a traceable service) to Montage Solutions, PO Box 4305, Olathe, KS 66062.
5. Choose a number of songs that correspond with the package you selected. Due to copyright laws you need to send Montage Solutions a copy of the song. You may mail this to Montage Solutions, PO Box 4305, Olathe, KS 66063 or send the song file via email to order@montage-solutions.com (please include the name of the individual placing the order in the subject line of the email.) If you are mailing your photos to Montage Solutions, please include your song choices in the appropriate chapter envelopes. (Note: Remember to choose songs that will set your desired mood for your montage)
6. Choose Chapter Titles and/or Captions for your montage. If you are mailing your photos to Montage Solutions please include a separate sheet of paper with your Chapter Titles and/or Captions and indicate the corresponding photo by listing the number on the backside of the photo next to the Chapter Title/Caption selection.
7. Complete the order form online.  Once your order has been received, a Montage Solutions specialist will call you to discuss your order in greater detail.
8. When your video is complete we will mail it back to you at the address you designate. Please allow 2 weeks from the time your order is received until the time the montage is complete. Rush orders are accepted, however an additional $45.00 rush order fee will apply. Rush order fees DO NOT apply for funeral purposes. All montages are final unless errors occur on the behalf of Montage Solutions in which case the situation will be rectified at no additional cost to you.
